My writing draws on the amazing and sometimes intense adventures I’ve had with our two sons living in nine diverse countries: USA, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Romania, India, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, and finally in North Korea where my husband worked with UNICEF.  I now live in Sidney, BC, Canada with my husband, frequent visits to the USA and also Thailand where I lived for seventeen years.
